Effective August 25, 2026.
Sky Signal is designed without an account, advertising SDK, or product analytics. We do not sell personal data.
Birth profiles, birth date and time, birthplace and timezone, chart results, secondary profiles, compatibility data, reflections, notes, saved Signals, and journal history stay on your device. They are not sent to a developer server, analytics service, contact service, or advertising service.
Sharing begins only when you explicitly open the iOS share sheet. Privacy-safe cards omit birth time, birthplace, coordinates, timezone, journal notes, and internal identifiers by default.
Birthplace is separate from observing location. With permission, observing coordinates are used on device for astronomy and satellite calculations and included in Open-Meteo weather requests. NOAA space-weather and CelesTrak orbital-element requests do not include those coordinates. Providers and your network operator may receive ordinary technical request data under their own policies. Sky Signal does not operate a server that stores your observing location.
Permission is requested only after you choose an alert. Alerts are scheduled locally and exclude sensitive birth and journal details.
Apple StoreKit processes subscriptions. Sky Signal reads Apple-verified entitlement status but does not receive payment-card details.
Personal content remains on device until deleted. Open You to export or delete it. Deleting the app removes local app data, subject to device and backup settings.
Sky Signal is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
For privacy questions, open a support request without sensitive birth or journal details.
